    General Voyage Sicily Review

In early June this summer, Swedish Match launched a new sub-line of General called “Voyage”. This line contained three products with interesting flavors: Sicily, Cape Town, and Brooklyn. Today, I have the Sicily variant to talk about.

The flavor description for this one sounds quite intriguing: “General Voyage Sicily has a light tobacco taste with notes of bitter orange, herbs and limoncello”. Limoncello, if you aren’t familiar, is a lemon liqueur from Italy. I’ve had some here and there over the years, in the past, but it’s been a while. I remember it being kind of tangy, so I was curious to see how that flavor would translate in a snus. So, let’s open one of these up and check it out!

Opening the can, I notice it to come in the Star Formation, a format that Swedish Match reserves for it’s premium white portion offerings. There are 22 portions in the can. The can weighs 19.8 grams which means each portion is going to weigh 0.9 grams each. The nicotine content is 8.5mg/g, which breaks down to just 7.65mg/portion.

Opening the can, lemon comes through pretty clearly. It’s slightly sweet, and has light herbal hints to it. I also seem to notice a light note of fennel. The portions are pretty nice and soft. They’re plump, and fill out the lip really well.

Under the lip they feel soft, and have a pretty gradual release of flavor. The taste is predominantly lemon, with a slight touch of orange. It does have a tart nature to it, along with a subtle sweetness. Like with the aroma, I notice a light touch of fennel, but it’s not an overbearing presence of it, along with a little herbal character behind it. The tobacco base comes through in a gentle way, as well.

In the nicotine department, this one feels to be about the regular strength, with a steady release and delivery. The flavor longevity is pretty solid, lasting a good hour, sometimes a little bit more.

    Snubie’s Final Thoughts

This one was certainly an interesting one. I enjoyed the can I had of it, but I’m not sure I’d be a regular user of it. I could see myself getting a can of it here and there, but it’s not something I’d use full time, personally. You may love it though! With this series, I definitely suggest getting one can of each to try out, and see which one is your favorite! I am more partial to Brooklyn, but who knows, this one may be your favorite!

  • G.3 Rize Slim White Portion Snus Review

G.3 Rize Slim White Portion Snus Review

Blackcurrant is a flavor of mine that is, and has been, a favorite for many years now. It’s one you see pop up here and there in nicotine pouches, but it’s a very rare one in the world of snus. Which is surprising, because it’s actually a very, very good flavor.

Let’s flash back for a moment. The year is 2012. Swedish Match has released a new snus, Catch Blackcurrant Slim White Portion. Or, maybe it was “long portion”, as they were calling them back then. After trying it, I fell in love with it. But, as always happens, it was discontinued.

Okay, flash forward to 2020, and Skruf releases Skruf Solbær (Solbär). It has a black currant taste, but has some mint mixed in to it. It’s fine, I can work with it. But, it’s discontinued as well. Now, in 2023, Swedish Match has given us G.3 Rize. Does it fill the black currant shaped hole in my heart? Well, let’s find out more!

When Swedish Match announced it, this is how they described it: “Light tobacco character with clear hints of fruit and berries as well as clear hints of black currants”. Opening up the can I count 24 portions. The can weighs 16.6 grams, so that means each portion is a little light at 0.69 grams each. The nicotine content is 12mg/g, but due to that lighter pouch weight it actually breaks down to just 8.28mg/portion.

So, how good is this stuff? Let me tell you more.

Well, the aroma is really nice. It has a present blackcurrant aroma to it. And, it’s not super sweet nor is it minty. Those are the two things I was the most worried about. But, I was pleasantly surprised to see it had neither of those things going on. Just a nice, beautiful aroma of black currant. The portions are slim, and though they’re called “white”, to me they’re almost like white dry portions. That’s no biggie to me, just something I noticed. They have a nice fit under the lip, and a pretty soft mouthfeel. The flavor is where this one really shines. It has an amazing black currant taste. It reminds me of what the 2012 Catch tasted like, or at least what my memory tells me. It has a little tobacco base to it, but it doesn’t overpower the black currant. And, it’s not overly sweet, and it’s not overly minty. That’s a win in my book. In the nicotine department, it hits right at the regular strength level, and that is pretty satisfactory to me. The flavor lasts a solid hour, sometimes more.

    Snubie’s Final Thoughts

This one became a regular snus for me from the first can I opened last month. Now, it’s one I have with me every day. It’s rare to add snus products to my personal rotation. I can’t remember the last time I did. But this is the first one in ages that was so, so good, that I couldn’t resist. If you haven’t had it, go get it. I can assure you that probably a good chunk of the snus community will love this one. It’s that good.

  • The definitive guide to Pablo Nicotine pouches

The definitive guide to Pablo Nicotine pouches

When you first place a Pablo pouch under your lip, the immediate “sting” tells you exactly why this brand carries the “Danger Strong” label. Unlike standard pouches that prioritize a slow onset, Pablo is engineered for an aggressive nicotine release that targets veteran users seeking maximum bioavailability. As a staple in the Pablo nicotine pouch collection, Pablo has carved out a niche where intensity is the primary metric of success.

    What to expect
Pablo is defined by its rapid-fire delivery. It is a high-moisture, high-pH pouch designed to break the blood-brain barrier significantly faster than entry-level alternatives.

The history of Pablo nicotine pouches

Pablo emerged from the NGP Empire, the same lab behind the infamous Killa, with a singular mission: to push the boundaries of what a tobacco-free pouch could deliver. While Killa became the “everyday” strong choice, Pablo was formulated as the specialized “extra strong” tier.

The brand’s DNA is rooted in the Eastern European market’s demand for high-intensity stimulants, but it quickly gained a cult following globally due to its consistent shelf-life and uncompromising potency. It wasn’t designed to compete with the mass-market subtlety of Swedish Match products; it was built to be the strongest legal alternative on the market.

    Heritage
Pablo represents the pinnacle of NGP Empire’s engineering, focusing on a specific chemical profile that maximizes the “kick” for those with high nicotine tolerance.

The Pablo lineup: From classic Mint to X-Ice Cold

Navigating the Pablo catalog requires an understanding of how flavor additives interact with nicotine salts. The brand focuses on “Cold” profiles because menthol and peppermint oils act as vasodilators, further increasing the speed of nicotine absorption.

    • Pablo Ice Cold: The flagship. It features a sharp, medicinal mint profile with a heavy cooling agent that numbs the lip almost instantly.
    • Pablo X-Ice Cold: A darker take on the original, incorporating subtle tobacco-inspired notes (without the actual leaf) to provide a more “earthy” mouthfeel.
    • Pablo Red: A dual-sensation pouch that provides a heating element followed by a deep freeze, creating a complex sensory distraction from the high nicotine load.
    • Pablo Pear & Strawberry: Rare fruit variants that maintain the high-strength base but mask the saltiness of the nicotine with high-aroma esters.

Technically, most Pablo varieties hover around 30mg/g. However, when calculating per pouch, a standard 0.6g or 0.8g, slim pouch delivers roughly 18mg to 24mg of nicotine. This distinction is vital: the mg/g tells you the concentration, while the mg/pouch tells you the actual dose you are consuming.

    Key takeaway: Choosing your variant

If you prioritize the traditional “burn,” Ice Cold is the standard. If you prefer a more nuanced, “darker” flavor profile that mimics the weight of a traditional snus, X-Ice Cold is the superior choice.

How to use Pablo pouches for the maximum “danger strong” experience

To get the most out of Pablo’s discreet delivery, placement and duration are key. Because these pouches feature a higher moisture content than “dry” American-style pouches, the release begins the moment the material becomes damp.

    1. Placement: Position the pouch slightly to the side of the upper lip. The center-front has more nerve endings but less blood flow; the side-loading method ensures a steady stream into the systemic circulation.
    2. Timing: Most veteran users find the “peak” occurs between 5 and 15 minutes. Beyond 30 minutes, the pH-balance shifts, and the delivery rate plateaus.
    3. Hydration: Always ensure your mouth isn’t overly dry. A small amount of natural moisture is required to activate the nicotine salts within the fleece.

    Responsible use:
Pablo is strictly for existing adult nicotine users and is not suitable for beginners, pregnant women, or individuals with cardiovascular sensitivities. Due to the high nicotine concentration, it should be used sparingly to avoid rapid tolerance buildup.

    Usage optimization
Maximize the “kick” by avoiding the temptation to “park” the pouch for too long. Pablo is designed for a high-impact, short-duration session rather than a long, slow release.

  • Nicotine Pouch Strengths and Sizes Explained: Find Your Perfect Match

Nicotine Pouch Strengths and Sizes Explained: Find Your Perfect Match

Navigating the landscape of nicotine pouches requires more than just picking a flavor. The experience is fundamentally dictated by the physical format of the pouch and the precise concentration of nicotine within. Understanding these variables is the difference between a satisfying release and an overwhelming “buzz” that ends the session prematurely.

If you are new to the category, you might want to start with the basics: Read the article “What are nicotine pouches? A beginner’s guide” to understand the fundamentals of how these products work.

Decoding the “dot system” across different brands

Most manufacturers use a visual scale, often referred to as the “dot system” to indicate intensity at a glance. Typically, this scale runs from 1 to 4 or 1 to 6 dots. However, it is crucial to understand that these ratings are subjective to each brand. A “4-dot” pouch from a mellow brand might feel significantly weaker than a “4-dot” pouch from a high-intensity line like Volt or Killa.

When you see these dots, they represent the “perceived strength,” which accounts for both the nicotine content and the pH-balance. A higher pH increases the “sting,” making the nicotine feel more immediate and potent.

Key takeaway: Never rely solely on dots when switching brands; always check the specific milligram count to ensure a consistent experience.

Milligrams explained: mg/g vs. mg per pouch (the math simplified)

The most common point of confusion for users is the difference between concentration (mg/g) and the actual dose per portion (mg/pouch).

    • mg/g (Milligrams per gram): This tells you how concentrated the nicotine is within the filler material.
    • mg/pouch (Milligrams per pouch): This is the actual amount of nicotine your body will interact with.

The math: If a can is labeled 16 mg/g but the pouches are “Mini” format weighing 0.5g each, you are only getting 8 mg of nicotine per pouch. Conversely, a “Large” 1.0g pouch at the same concentration would deliver the full 16 mg. This distinction is vital for managing your intake and avoiding overconsumption.

Key takeaway: Always look for the mg/pouch figure to understand the actual dosage you are consuming in one sitting.

Finding your fit: slim, mini, large, and super slim

The physical dimensions of Swedish nicotine pouches nicotine pouches determine how they sit under your lip and the speed of the nicotine release.

    • Large (Original): Offers a full, robust mouthfeel. These hold more moisture and filler, often leading to a faster, more intense initial hit.
    • Slim: The industry standard. It is elongated and discreet, designed to fit perfectly in the labial sulcus (the space under the lip) without being visible to others.
    • Mini: Optimized for maximum discretion. These are significantly shorter and contain less filler, making them ideal for users who want a subtle experience.
    • Super slim: Even thinner than the standard slim, providing a sharp delivery with minimal physical presence.

Key takeaway: Format affects both comfort and bioavailability; slim formats are generally the best balance for most experienced users.

How to choose your first strength level

Choosing your first strength is about finding the “sweet spot” where you feel satisfied without discomfort. If you are transitioning from traditional tobacco free snus nicotine pouches or other nicotine products, consider your current habits:

    • Light users: Start with 3-4 mg/pouch. This provides a gentle introduction without a heavy “burn.”
    • Regular users: 6-10 mg/pouch is the standard “Strong” range that satisfies most daily users.
    • Experienced users: 12 mg/pouch and above are classified as “Extra Strong” and should be approached with caution due to the rapid onset.

The goal is to find a level that provides a steady discreet delivery of nicotine over 30 to 45 minutes. If you feel dizzy or nauseous, the strength is too high for your current tolerance.

Key takeaway: Start lower than you think you need; you can always increase the strength, but an overpowering first experience is difficult to reverse.

  • How strong Are VELO Nicotine Pouches?

How strong Are VELO Nicotine Pouches?

Understanding the potency of VELO nicotine pouches is the key to a consistent and enjoyable experience. Unlike combustible products where uptake is rapid and volatile, VELO utilizes a sophisticated nicotine salt formulation designed for a controlled, linear release. When you first place a VELO pouch under your lip, the “burn” a signature sensation caused by the pH-adjusting sodium carbonates serves as a tactile indicator that the nicotine bioavailability is reaching its peak.

    VELO nicotine strengths explained

In the nicotine pouch industry, strength is often a source of confusion due to different reporting standards. To navigate VELO nicotine pouches, you must distinguish between nicotine concentration (mg/g) and the actual dose per portion (mg/pouch). Because VELO offers varying pouch sizes from the discreet Mini to the fuller Slim the weight of the pouch significantly impacts the total nicotine delivered.

VELO’s internal “Dot System” (ranging from 1 to 6 dots) acts as a visual guide for intensity, but for the experienced user, the milligram-per-pouch metric is the gold standard. A higher mg/g concentration in a smaller “Mini” pouch may actually deliver less total nicotine than a lower mg/g concentration in a larger “Slim” format.

    • pH & Absorption: VELO maintains a slightly alkaline pH level, which is essential for ensuring the nicotine salts cross the oral mucosa efficiently.
    • Release Profile: Expect a rapid onset within the first 2–5 minutes, with a sustained plateau that lasts up to 40 minutes.

To learn more about the brand’s history and the science behind their formula, check out our guide on What Are VELO nicotine pouches
Key Takeaway: Always check the mg/pouch rather than just the dot rating to understand exactly how much nicotine you are consuming per serving.

    Different VELO strength levels

The VELO lineup is engineered to be a “laddered” system, allowing users to fine-tune their intake based on their specific tolerance and the time of day.

Strength Level Dot Rating Mg per Pouch Experience Profile
Easy 1 Dot 2-4mg Mellow, focusing on flavor over physiological “kick.”
Medium 2-3 Dots 6-8mg The standard “sweet spot” for regular users.
    Strong 4 Dots 10-12mg A pronounced sting with a heavy-hitting nicotine release.
Ultra Max 5-6 Dots 15-20mg For high-tolerance users; provides an intense, rapid surge.

When using the higher-intensity variants like “Freeze” or “X-Freeze,” the cooling sensation of menthol and peppermint often amplifies the perceived strength, making the “sting” feel more aggressive than a fruit-flavored pouch of the same milligram count.

Key Takeaway: Flavor notes like eucalyptus and menthol can increase the sensory perception of strength, while fruit flavors tend to mask the nicotine’s natural bitterness.

    Choosing the right VELO pouch

Finding your ideal VELO pouches is an exercise in balancing your current nicotine tolerance with your desired duration of use. If you are transitioning from a pack-a-day habit, you might naturally gravitate toward the 3 or 4-dot Slim formats. However, if you prefer a short, discreet hit during meetings, a 2-dot Mini pouch offers a shorter “shelf-life” in the mouth with a more subtle profile.

For those curious about how these strengths compare across the entire catalog, you can view the full intensity spectrum here:

    Consider these factors when selecting:

    • Pouch Size: Slim pouches offer a larger surface area for absorption; Mini pouches are almost invisible under the lip.
    • Moisture Levels: VELO is a “dry” pouch compared to traditional snus, meaning it requires saliva to activate. A drier mouth will result in a slower, more gradual release.

    Responsible nicotine use

While VELO offers a high-quality, tobacco-free alternative, it is vital to manage consumption responsibly. Nicotine is a stimulant; over-consumption can lead to “nicotine sickness,” characterized by dizziness, nausea, or a racing heart. To maintain a balanced experience, avoid “chain-pouching” give your oral mucosa time to recover between portions.

    • Rotation: Move the pouch location (left/right side of the upper lip) to prevent localized irritation.
    • Hydration: Nicotine and pH-adjusting salts can dry out the mouth; ensure you stay hydrated during use.
    • Disposal: Use the waste compartment in the lid of the can to dispose of used pouches responsibly.

Key Takeaway: VELO is intended strictly for adult nicotine users. If you begin to feel over-stimulated, remove the pouch immediately and hydrate.

  • What are nicotine pouches? A beginner’s guide

What are nicotine pouches? A beginner’s guide

The rapid evolution of the “all-white” category has fundamentally changed how adults consume nicotine globally. Unlike traditional products, nicotine pouches offer a refined, smoke-free experience that prioritizes discretion without sacrificing the ritualistic “kick” users expect. At SnusMe, we’ve tracked this shift from the early experimental batches to the high-tech, stabilized formats dominating the market today.

Defining the category: What makes it “all-white”?

The term “all-white” isn’t just marketing jargon; it refers to the complete absence of tobacco leaf. While traditional snus relies on pasteurized tobacco which can cause dental staining and a lingering “earthy” breath, tobacco-free snus utilizes a base of plant-based fibers (usually cellulose).

When you tuck a pouch under your lip, the lack of tobacco means the bag remains white before, during, and after use. This innovation ensures a discreet delivery system, no brown spit, no stained teeth, and a significantly lower odor profile that makes it socially seamless in professional or close-quarter environments.

Key takeaway: All-white products use pharmaceutical-grade nicotine and plant fibers to provide a cleaner, stain-free alternative to traditional tobacco.

The anatomy of a pouch: Fillers, flavors, and nicotine

A high-quality pouch is a precision-engineered delivery vehicle. The experience is defined by three core components:

The filler: Usually a blend of microcrystalline cellulose and salt. This determines the “mouthfeel”, whether the pouch feels soft and pillowy or slim and firm.

The flavor profile: We look for complexity. A premium mint pouch isn’t just “cold”; it often features peppermint sharp notes balanced by a cooling menthol finish or even sweet spearmint undertones.

The chemistry: Manufacturers adjust the pH-balance of the filler. A higher pH increases the bioavailability of the nicotine, meaning you feel the “sting” or “burn” more intensely, which correlates to how fast the nicotine enters your bloodstream.

When evaluating strength, it is vital to distinguish between mg/g (concentration) and mg/pouch (actual dosage). A 10mg/g pouch in a “mini” format (0.5g) only delivers 5mg of nicotine, whereas a “large” format (1.0g) delivers the full 10mg.

Key takeaway: From the grit of the cellulose to the pH-driven “sting,” every element is calibrated to control the speed and sensation of the nicotine release.

Nicotine pouches vs. traditional snus: Key differences

While they share a similar heritage, swedish nicotine pouches and traditional snus are distinct tools for the modern user.

    Feature Feature>Traditional snus Feature>Nicotine pouches (all-white)
Base material Ground tobacco leaf Plant-based cellulose fiber
Drip High (brown liquid) Low to minimal (clear liquid)
Storage Must be refrigerated Shelf-stable at room temperature
Flavor clarity Competes with tobacco taste Pure flavor (fruit, mint, coffee)

The most immediate difference you’ll notice is the “drip.” Traditional snus produces a dark juice that many find harsh. In contrast, nicotine pouches are designed for a controlled, slow-drip experience that keeps the flavor localized and the nicotine delivery steady over 30 to 60 minutes.

Key takeaway: Nicotine pouches offer better shelf-life and a “cleaner” sensory profile, making them the preferred choice for those moving away from the heavy flavor of tobacco.

Why the world is switching to tobacco-free alternatives

The global pivot toward tobacco-free alternatives is driven by the desire for harm reduction and convenience. Modern users demand products that fit a mobile lifestyle. You can enjoy a pouch on a long-haul flight, in the gym, or during a boardroom meeting without anyone noticing.

Furthermore, the precision of synthetic or tobacco-derived nicotine allows for a massive spectrum of strengths. Whether you are looking for a mild 3mg “mellow” experience or a 20mg “extra strong” hit, the consistency in these products far exceeds what is possible with organic tobacco leaves. This predictability is why millions are making the permanent switch.

Key takeaway: The combination of social discretion, flavor variety, and the absence of tobacco-related side effects has solidified nicotine pouches as the future of the industry.

  • What Are VELO Nicotine Pouches?

    What Are VELO Nicotine Pouches?

VELO has cemented its status as the global benchmark for the modern nicotine experience. Unlike many of its competitors, VELO focuses on a high-purity, synthetic nicotine delivery system that prioritizes a consistent release over a sharp, aggressive spike. When you transition to VELO nicotine pouches, the most immediate difference is the texture a silky, non-woven fleece that minimizes gum irritation while maximizing the bioavailability of the nicotine salts within.

    What is VELO?

VELO is the refined evolution of the nicotine pouch, owned by British American Tobacco (BAT). It represents a shift toward a lifestyle-integrated product where discretion is as important as the nicotine hit itself. The brand’s DNA is rooted in Scandinavian heritage but engineered for a global audience, utilizing a plant-based fiber filler that remains stark white before, during, and after use.

When you crack open a can of VELO pouches, you’ll notice the “Slim” or “Mini” formats are meticulously weighed for a balanced mouthfeel. The brand utilizes a specific pH-balancing agent (sodium carbonates) to ensure the nicotine is absorbed efficiently through the oral mucosa, providing a steady “burn” that signals the onset of the effect without being overwhelming.

Key Takeaway: VELO is a premium, tobacco-free brand defined by its high-quality fleece, pH-optimized nicotine salts, and a “clean” experience that leaves no staining or lingering odor.

    Does VELO contain tobacco?

A common misconception for those transitioning from traditional Swedish Snus is that VELO contains tobacco leaf. It does not. VELO is a 100% tobacco-free alternative VELO nicotine pouches. Instead of using fire-cured or air-cured tobacco, VELO uses nicotine extracted from the Nicotiana tabacum plant, which is then refined into a high-purity salt and infused into a matrix of eucalyptus and pine fibers.

This chemical purity ensures a longer shelf-life and a flavor profile that isn’t muddied by the earthy, bitter notes of tobacco. Whether you are opting for the sharp peppermint of ‘Freeze’ or the subtle elderflower notes in their fruit-forward lines, the flavor remains crisp because it isn’t fighting against a tobacco base.

    • Tobacco-Free: No leaf, stem, or dust.
    • Stain-Free: All-white pouches ensure your teeth remain white.
    • Ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, water, salt, flavorings, and pharmaceutical-grade nicotine.

Key Takeaway: VELO eliminates the biomass of tobacco entirely, offering a pure nicotine salt experience that is discreet and socially acceptable in any environment.

    How VELO nicotine pouches work

The science behind VELO relies on a process called transmucosal delivery. When the pouch is tucked under your upper lip, the moisture in your mouth activates the nicotine and flavors. Because VELO uses a specific granulated filler, the “drip” (the liquid created during use) is kept to a minimum, extending the flavor duration to roughly 30–45 minutes.

Understanding the strength is vital for a tailored experience. VELO uses a “dot system” on their cans, but it is the actual milligram count that dictates the sensation:

    • Standard Slim: Typically 6 to 10 mg per pouch, designed for a sustained release.
    • Ultra/Max: Can reach 15 to 20 mg per pouch for those with a higher tolerance.
    • Bioavailability: The pH-adjusted environment in the pouch ensures that a higher percentage of the stated nicotine actually enters the bloodstream compared to lower-quality brands.

If you are looking to explore the full range of intensities, you can find the entire collection here:.

Key Takeaway: VELO works through controlled-release technology, using pH buffers to manage nicotine absorption rates, providing a predictable and satisfying “kick” without the need for combustion or spitting.

    Who are VELO pouches for?

VELO is designed for the modern adult nicotine consumer who values convenience and sensory precision. It appeals to those who find traditional tobacco products too restrictive or intrusive. Because the pouches are slim and produce no smoke or vapor, they are the go-to choice for professionals, travelers, and individuals in smoke-free environments.

The mouthfeel is also a deciding factor; VELO provides a characteristic “sting” a cooling or heating sensation depending on the flavor that satisfies the tactile craving many former smokers or vapers miss. It is an ideal tobacco-free alternative for those who want a sophisticated, tiered nicotine experience ranging from mellow 4mg options to high-intensity variants.

Key Takeaway: VELO is for existing adult nicotine users seeking a high-performance, discreet, and tobacco-free delivery method that fits seamlessly into a busy, modern lifestyle.

  • Everything you need to know about VILD nicotine pouches

Everything you need to know about VILD nicotine pouches

In the fall of 2024, a new Swedish brand called VILD nicotine pouches was launched. It’s an exciting brand that stands out among its competitors in the broad nicotine pouch market. The products are completely tobacco-free and have already become popular here at SnusMe.com. In this article, we take a closer look at their product range and what makes VILD such an interesting brand.

    – “The fact that the cans from VILD nicotine pouches are orange makes them stand out a lot on the shelf. If you walk into a store with a large selection of snus and nicotine pouches, your eyes will automatically be drawn to the products from VILD. Many brands create colorful packaging, but it’s usually just the labels that are in color. Here, the entire can is orange, and that makes a big difference. In the same way, VILD created a booth that caught a lot of attention at the InterTabac fair this past September,” says Gustaf, Purchasing Manager at SnusMe.com.

What sets VILD apart from other brands?

There are already an incredible number of nicotine pouch brands on the market, and launching a new brand that stands out is challenging. Nordic Brands, the company behind VILD nicotine pouches, has succeeded in creating a product that stands out partly through its design. However, when you take a closer look, you can see that they’ve also done solid work with both the flavors and the brand’s complete profile.

    – “When we visited their booth at InterTabac in Germany, it was clear what profile VILD has and which target audience they want to reach. They had, for example, created the feel of a grilling spot in the middle of their booth, making it like sitting around a campfire. VILD has an outdoor profile and they are targeting people who spend a lot of time in the woods, such as hunters and those who live an outdoor lifestyle. I think they have a well-thought-out profile,” says Gustaf.

What do VILD nicotine pouches taste like?

The brand has focused on developing really great mint flavors, and since mint is by far the most popular flavor for nicotine pouches in all countries, it’s a smart move. You can tell from the quality that they’ve used good raw materials and high-quality aromas. Their range currently includes three different mint flavors, each with varying nicotine strengths. In addition, they offer the product VILD Jaeger, which features notes of licorice root, dried herbs, and star anise.

How strong are the nicotine pouches from VILD?

There are three different strengths of nicotine pouches from VILD. The mildest mint flavor is called VILD Bris, with a nicotine level of 8 mg/g. The strongest flavor is VILD Storm, with a nicotine level of 15.7 mg/g. The mid-range strength is 11.5 mg/g and is available in two options, VILD Jaeger and the mint flavor VILD Kuling. Even the product names are inspired by nature, as “bris,” “kuling,” and “storm” are Swedish words for different windy weather conditions in the Nordic region.

What do the products from VILD contain?

VILD nicotine pouches are completely tobacco-free. This means you avoid bad breath, stained teeth, and the harmful effects of tobacco, giving you a fresher feeling in your mouth instead.
